Russell Taylor Group invites applications for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support a major UK refinery turnaround. You will develop mechanical scopes, coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and oversee brownfield and replacement works from early scope development through execution.
The role focuses on delivering robust mechanical solutions for vessels, boilers and piping during the 2028 turnaround.

Mechanical Engineer with experience in refining, petrochemical, process plant or heavy industry?

You’ll be joining the engineering team at a major UK refinery, supporting the preparation and execution of a significant 2028 turnaround. The role sits between project engineering and turnaround delivery, giving you the opportunity to develop technically robust mechanical scopes ahead of execution before providing field engineering support during the turnaround.
