The Mechanical Project Engineer will be part of a small team involved in a range of projects, overseeing full life cycles through design, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover while ensuring the key deliverables of cost, time, and performance are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead a variety of projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2. Work with a range of other teams within the business, from sales, design, shop floor, and more.
3. Work with stakeholders through effective communication and leadership.
4. Create and maintain mechanical specifications, drawings, and documentation; tender analysis and validation; design and construction review; commissioning and handover.
5. Manage project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed before deadlines.
6. Manage budgets.

Skills and Experience required:

• Recognized Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
• Experience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar
• AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience required
• A well-organized person who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
