Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services is seeking a Mechanical Production Technician to perform maintenance on mechanical systems across the Sizewell A and Bradwell sites, ensuring safe plant operations and compliance with QA requirements.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification, strong practical mechanical skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Candidates should be safety-focused, capable of working independently or in a team, and prepared to operate in radiological areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Sound mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose faults on mechanical systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown investigations and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose faults including pumps, cranes, hydraulic systems, ventilation, water systems and compressors.
• Ensure all work is delivered safely, compliantly and in line with QA requirements.
• Be authorised to hold safety documents and work to prescribed radiological, electrical and mechanical safety rules within radiological and contaminated areas.
