adi Mechanical Pipe Fitter Welder

Location - Sheffield

About the Role

As a Pipe Fitter Welder, you will carry out pipe fitting and fabrication tasks including small amounts of mechanical fitting and maintenance.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out pipe fitting welding tasks
• Performing mechanical fitting and maintenance work
• Fabricating parts from drawings or templates
• Conducting NDT and pressure testing on completed works
• Unloading deliveries and storing them in their correct locations
• Preparing parts for welding
• Providing assistance to the site team as needed

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Completion of a recognised qualification or time served trade apprenticeship.
• Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
• Welding and Fabrication experience is a must-have for this position.
• Understanding of Engineering drawings
• Competency in Tig / Mig / Arc Welding
• Experience in Fabrication work
• Understanding of Health and Safety
