MBDA UK is recruiting a Graduate Mechanical Architect for the 2027 programme in Stevenage. The role combines design leadership with verification, risk analysis and lifecycle delivery in a hybrid on-site environment, with a base salary of £31,900 and a joining bonus of £3,000.

Salary: £31,900 plus a £3000 joining bonus Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Mechanical Architects are deployed in each of our missile product teams which include products across all stages of the missile lifecycle. They draw upon inputs from stakeholders across the business and perform various technical and project management tasks.
Mechanical Architects work with a wide range of technical functions and provide direct input towards project delivery across the business. Within the role you’ll be working on allocated projects, which could be at any stage of the design lifecycle! The role comes with the experience of working with various people and departments within MBDA to achieve successful delivery of your project.
Degree qualified in an Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production/Manufacturing Engineering discipline to a minimum of 2:2.
