Mechanical Manager / M&E Manager – £100m Super Prime Residential Project

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager / M&E Manager to join a prestigious £100m super prime residential refurbishment project in Surrey. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on a landmark, long term development involving the refurbishment and transformation of an exceptional private residence. The project includes extensive structural alterations, complex building services installations and ultra high specification interior finishes throughout. Working closely with the project team, consultants and specialist subcontractors, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical services and coordinating M&E packages from installation through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of mechanical and public health installations to a significant section of the project.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Monitor quality control and ensure all installations meet project and client requirements.
• Work closely with the site, commercial and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering high-end residential, prime residential or super prime residential projects.
• Previous experience working for either a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services and M&E coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and construction best practice.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain quality under demanding project conditions.
