Job summary

Davis Mills in London is seeking a capable Mechanical Manager to lead on a luxury residential fit out in Mayfair. The role is on-site, with options for permanent or freelance engagement, and will require strong technical leadership on a £60m project.

You will manage mechanical design on site, coordinate with design and site teams, and ensure drawings and submittals are implemented promptly. A proactive, solutions-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a mechanical engineering or mechanical management role.
• Strong technical knowledge with background in plumbing, ventilation and AC.
• Confident user of electronic platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, ACC, Smartsheet.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain clear communication between design and site teams.
• Practical, solutions-focused, and well-organised.

Talented Mechanical Manager required, happy to take the Mechanical Manager on a permanent or freelance basis

We are working alongside a growing building main contractor based in London, with an increasing turnover offering secure employment. The successful Mechanical Manager will be proactive and technically strong and will be site based in Mayfair, London. The project is a luxury residential fit out, valued build cost £60m.

Mechanical Manager's key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical design activities on site


• Review, manage, and submit technical submittals, RFIs, and design documentation


• Ensure approved drawings are followed on site and implemented promptly


• Liaise closely with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors


• The Mechanical Manager will be expected to manage mechanical paperwork and reporting through electronic document control platforms

Requirements for the Mechanical Manager
