Mechanical Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Area of Responsibility

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of our products and services.
• The role involves substantial travel within the UK, EU, and Rest of World (excluding the USA).

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in maintaining electro-mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial environment.
• Mechanical qualifications.
• HNC/HND/Degree qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
• Knowledge of safety control PLCs, software, and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, gas, pneumatics, and compressed air.
• Evidence of engineering, health and safety, and quality training.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform corrective actions, working and multitasking as part of a 2/3 person team.
• Good work ethic, positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to quality and detail.
• Time-served apprenticeship is an advantage.
• Good understanding of and ability to interpret drawings and work independently.
• Excellent spoken and written command of English.
• Ability to wear a respirator and/or face mask and other safety equipment.
