Mechanical Maintenance Technician
What you will enjoy doing
  • This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in managing and optimising the mechanical activities at our Crawley site - as this exciting role encompasses both civil and mechanical disciplines it offers the opportunity to make a significant impact
  • You will work with excellence as you inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to guarantee safe, smooth and reliable operations
  • Maintain peak performance, as you will carry out routine maintenance and testing to keep equipment performing within high standards and optimal parameters
  • You'll bring innovation to life and take ownership of installing new equipment and contribute to exciting small projects where your ideas and leadership can deliver real improvements
  • Take pride in identifying opportunities for enhancements and implementing improvements to elevate site performance
  • Lastly, you will maintain clear records and documentation for all mechanical equipment and processes, enabling clarity and long-term success
What makes you great
  • You have done either a Mechanical apprenticeship or Higher National Certificate (HNC) with working experience in a mechancial and/or maintenance role
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build positive relationships
  • You are highly safety conscious with a working knowledge of health, safety, environment and quality practices to ensure safety, consistency, and compliance in everything we do
  • Furthermore, as a problem solver, you are proactive and skilled at making thoughtful decisions under pressure
  • If you have plantmaintenance and cylinder filing operations experience that would be an advantage
