Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days (Monday to Friday)

Great opportunity for a mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer to join one of Northern Ireland's top companies serving the agriculture sector. Working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm, you'll carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Shift options may be available in the future if preferred (shift premium and higher earnings); however, this position is days only. Overtime is available at 1.5 rates, which can increase your earnings well above £40k+.

The Role:

• Mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
• Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
• Repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication
• Work with engineering drawings effectively
• Complete maintenance records accurately
• Adhere to H&S and company policies at all times

What we are looking for:

• Time served Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Engineer
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting working with automated equipment
• Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Preferably experience fabricating and working with lathes & milling
