Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader for a state-of-the-art energy from waste power station in Gloucester.

This days-based role offers a 40-hour week with overtime and a performance bonus. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, oversee mechanical maintenance activities and drive plant improvements while maintaining high equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Extensive maintenance experience in power generation or heavy process industries.
• Strong knowledge of Steam raising plant.
• Proven leadership experience.
• HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good communication with Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Be technical lead for all mechanical maintenance activities.
• Deliver plant improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of mechanical performance and plant availability.
• Other duties as required.
