Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Team Lead (Energy-from-Waste) for a days-based role across Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas. You will lead a mechanical maintenance team, driving safe, efficient upkeep of a specialist process plant and taking ownership of maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate has mechanical maintenance leadership experience in Oil, Gas, Chemical, or Process industries, with a trade apprenticeship and a strong background in maintenance planning and

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer with a trade apprenticeship.
• Mechanical maintenance experience within the Oil, Gas, Chemical, or Process industries.
• Previous experience leading maintenance teams or supervising contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a mechanical maintenance team on site.
• Oversee planned, preventive and corrective maintenance across the site.
• Manage maintenance planning through the CMMS, oversee contractors, stores, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in shutdowns, plant outages, and an on-call rota when required.
