CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage a small portfolio of commercial buildings across Central and West London. This is a foot-mobile role requiring travel between sites to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations.

You will supervise a team of maintenance engineers, coordinate planned preventive and reactive works, stay hands-on when required, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in commercial Facilities Management / building services.
• Supervisory or senior engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.

• Allocate daily tasks to engineers, monitor workloads and ensure works are completed on time.
• Act as a key contact for clients, tenants and building management, maintaining strong relationships.

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Central London & West London– Up to £55,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM service provider, overseeing a small portfolio of commercial buildings across Central and West London. This is a foot-mobile position, requiring the successful candidate to travel between sites and ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of building maintenance services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations across a small portfolio of commercial buildings in Central and West London.


• Supervising and supporting a team of foot-mobile maintenance engineers, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across all sites.


• Managing and coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.


• Remaining hands-on when required, assisting with fault finding, repairs and general maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.


• Allocating daily tasks to engineers, monitoring workloads and ensuring all works are completed within agreed timescales.


• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, tenants and building management teams, maintaining strong working relationships.


• Managing specialist subcontractors, including arranging site attendance, reviewing completed works and following up on remedial actions.


• Ensuring all sites remain compliant with statutory regulations, health & safety procedures and company standards.


• Identifying additional works, preparing quotations and assisting with the delivery of minor projects.


• Updating and maintaining CAFM systems, ensuring PPMs, reactive tasks and compliance documentation are accurately recorded.


• Conducting regular site visits to monitor building conditions, engineering performance and outstanding maintenance issues.


• Supporting the efficient operation and ongoing maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical and general building services systems.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 17:00pm

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


• Previous experience working within commercial Facilities Management / building services.


• Supervisory, Lead Engineer or senior engineering experience.


• Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.


• Experience managing engineers, specialist subcontractors, quotations and remedial works.


• Confident and professional client-facing skills.


• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.


• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy commercial building.
