Job summary

ATA Recruitment is partnering with a major UK manufacturing business to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for their Kirton site in Nottinghamshire. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain and improve a wide range of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum plant reliability and performance.

You will work on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern (12-hour shifts).

Qualifications

• Prev experience as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing/heavy engineering environments.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to breakdowns and completing reactive repairs.
• Mechanical strip-downs, repairs and rebuilds.
• Fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Welding, fabrication and basic machining work.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Following safe systems of work and LOTO procedures.
