Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of equipment across domestic and commercial properties. The role focuses on planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and continuous improvement to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, proven maintenance experience, and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven maintenance experience in domestic and commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across domestic and commercial sites.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Service mechanical systems including heating, pipework, pumps and related equipment.
