Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its established FMCG manufacturing client in Leyland. The role covers day and night shifts, focusing on reliability, availability and performance of production machinery.

You will perform mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, PPM and reactive repairs to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability, in a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and fault-finding on production machinery.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify root causes of failures.
• Support safe and efficient production operations as part of a wider engineering team.
