Job summary

Concept Resources in North London is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a temporary, full-time role (approx. 40 hours/week) to support maintenance operations within a high-compliance environment.

The start date is 27 April 2026 with an end date of 6 July 2026. Responsibilities include carrying out PPM on mechanical systems, responding to maintenance issues, maintaining HVAC and plant equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent is required.
• Experience in commercial or critical environments (e.g. healthcare, labs, or similar).
• Strong understanding of HVAC and building services systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments.
• Additional multi-skilled maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, plant equipment, and associated systems.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and report findings.
• Support wider site maintenance operations where required.
