Job Purpose
You will be responsible for ensuring that all preventative and reactive maintenance work of plant and equipment is carried out effectively. You will ensure work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner in line with recognised codes and practices as well as adhere to our engineering standards. You will also deliver small Capex projects too.

Job Responsibilities
• Plan & carry out preventative/reactive maintenance on plant & equipment.
• Facilitate the compilation of standard work for technicians and standard work isolation procedures for plant & equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities to improve performance & ensure the continuous improvement of plant & equipment.
• Undertake routine inspections & complete repairs rectifying issues before they become a break down.
• Ensure the site’s compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support projects & plant & equipment upgrades.
• Liaise with site engineers for in depth troubleshooting and support with legislative standards.
• Update & maintain records.
• Provide guidance & coaching to junior engineering colleagues.

Job Requirements
• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Safety systems and their architectures.
• Understanding of Industry standards (e.g. ATEX, S88, S95, Alarm Management).
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements within ATEX and the manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of CE and PUWER application.
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems design, interpretation and maintenance.
