Job summary

Nicholas Clarke Associates Ltd, based in the Shrewsbury area, is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer (Days) for a busy manufacturing site in Telford, Shropshire. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial machinery with electrical and mechanical fault-finding responsibilities.

This role suits a proactive engineer focused on growth within a supportive team, offering a dayshift pattern, overtime possibilities, and a pathway to development.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience with a mechanical or electrical bias.
• Mechanical and/or electrical qualifications at Level 3 or above.
• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Strong fault-finding capability.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of industrial machinery.

• Reporting on recurrent breakdowns, providing reports to the engineering manager.
• Assisting in engineering improvement projects to improve machinery performance.

Telford, Shropshire.

£40,200 + overtime + 32 days holiday + company pension scheme + bonus scheme.

Days - Monday - Thursday (8:30am - 5:00pm) / Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).

Role Description.
