A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an excellent manufacturer in the Poole area.

Role And Responsibilities

1. Mechanical maintenance of production lines
2. Reading layout, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings
3. Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
4. Developing and following the site PPM programme and driving continuous improvement
5. Installing new equipment and machinery
6. Liaising with the Maintenance Manager to purchase necessary equipment, materials, and parts
7. Writing shift reports
8. Contributing to work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
9. Adhering to company policies, health and safety, and quality standards

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

1. City and Guilds or Apprenticeship Trained
2. Experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
3. Ability to diagnose issues and identify root causes
4. Good communication skills and team player attitude
5. Strong IT skills

Package And Benefits

1. Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 DOE
2. Panama shift: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights
