Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Portsmouth / Southampton – 45K

I am currently representing an excellent building services company that is in need of a mobile mechanical maintenance engineer to operate in the Portsmouth / Southampton contract area.

The company has over 150 employees, including engineers from various disciplines such as heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical, and general M&E maintenance.

You will work across Portsmouth, Southampton, and the South Coast on tasks including:

• AHUs, Humidifiers, Temperature control monitoring
• Fan Coil Units, Pumps & Motors
• General Mechanical PPMs
• Heating / Hot Water systems

Requirements include NVQ Level 2 qualification as a minimum, with a plumbing/mechanical bias.

Package:

• £40 to 45k basic salary
• Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone, and training provided
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with half-hour lunch
• Private use of van allowed
• Overtime available
• Call out duty on a 1 in 7 basis, with £200 per week retainer, paid at x1.5 door-to-door
• SSP
• 28 days holiday per annum
• Engineer provides own hand tools

• 6-month probation period
