Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading, forward-thinking company. The role involves working on a commercial contract based in the city centre of Nottingham at Bio City.

The successful candidate will provide service support as part of a team delivering quality service 24/7, including participation in the out-of-hours emergency call-out team.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Delivering PPM primarily related to Mechanical Building Services Plant and Systems in line with agreed programmes and SLA's to meet client and statutory compliance.
2. Completing remedial works identified through Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive requests.
3. Maintaining premises to a high standard.
4. Ensuring all site documentation is up to date for audits by internal or external parties.
5. Assisting with supervision of subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with H&S standards.
6. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00, with onsite parking and a call-out rate of 1 in 4.

Candidate requirements:

Experience as a Mechanical Technician working to high standards in a commercial environment, with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications include:

• NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical, e.g., Heating and Ventilating, or City and Guilds equivalent)
• Knowledge of Mechanical Plant/Plumbing Building Services PPM's in line with SFG20, including remedial work.
• Competence with Air Handling Units, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning, Cold Water, Heating, Ventilation, and Water Treatment systems.
• IOSH Working/Managing Safely (Desirable)
• Safe Work Procedures – PTW, RAMS (Desirable)
