Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our Balderton site. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance and preventive tasks on automated production lines to maximise uptime in a fast-paced factory environment.

Ideal candidates will have an 8+ year track record in production maintenance, apprentice training, and a Level 3 Engineering qualification. Living within 30 minutes of the site is required.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Balderton

Salary: £55,000 - £55,500

Shift: 4 on 4 off (days and nights 12 hours)

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical bias
• Apprentice trained engineer
• Minimum 8 years' experience working within a production environment as an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Must have a great attitude towards learning and self development
• Able to hit the ground running, wanting to get hands on assisting the team
• A team player who enjoys keeping busy
• To live within 30 minutes from site

Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
