Job summary

Omega in the Nottingham area is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to service, adjust and repair machinery, ensuring safe operation and uptime on a high-speed manufacturing site. The role offers a permanent contract with a lucrative pay package and overtime opportunities.

You will perform planned maintenance, inspect equipment, report on performance and drive continuous improvements in a global, highly automated production environment.

• Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
• Location: Nottingham area
• Pay Range: up to £47,000 plus excellent package and Overtime

We are looking for hands-on, Mechanically Biased Engineers to maintain a production manufacturing site, which produces outstanding industry-leading products. Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements; you can lead - you have the autonomy and freedom to improve your working environment
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Keep the site running to world-class standards

Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing
• Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background
