Job summary

CV TECHNICAL LTD in Kirkcaldy is seeking a motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturing operation. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance to keep production lines running, with training and development opportunities in a stable, welcoming team.

This 3-shift role requires hands-on engineers with a strong HSE mindset, experience in heavy industry, and the ability to fault-find mechanical and basic electrical faults across plant systems, including

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in mechanical/maintenance engineering.
• 3-5 years of practical maintenance experience.
• Experience in a process-oriented, heavy industry environment.
• COMPEX certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a sound Health & Safety work ethic at all times.
• Use knowledge and experience of sound engineering practices within a modern production environment to offer front line maintenance support to all production departments daily.
• Carry out PPM activities across the site as required.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks on Site Services (Compressed Air Systems, HPHW, Boiler systems, Cooling Towers, Refrigeration).
• Fault find & rectify mechanical & basic electrical faults in a modern production environment including conveyors, bearings, motors and gearboxes.
• Experience with HPHW/Steam boilers may be advantageous and involve process improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies.

£45,407 + BONUS

We are looking for a motivated mechanical maintenance engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company in their respective field. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. Role Description
