Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Crewe, Cheshire

Working hours: Days, Mon-Fri (1 in 6 call out)

Salary: £40,000+

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading company in their field. Reporting directly to the maintenance manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operations. Role Responsibilities:

• Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery
• Involvement in facilities work
• Fault finding in electrical and mechanical systems
• Working within a manufacturing environment
• Hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance
• Welding, specifically TIG welding

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in food manufacturing (advantageous)
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical or mechanical systems
• Relevant engineering qualifications
