Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a growing manufacturer with a long-term contract to supply major UK clients. With significant site investments planned for 2024 and beyond, they are seeking additional Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join the team on a 3-shift pattern.

This is a great opportunity to join a multiskilled maintenance team with structured training and career progression.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing electrical and mechanical support across all plant lines.
• Equipment testing, fault finding, and repairs.
• Maximizing machine uptime through effective preventative maintenance.
• Collaborating with team leaders to focus on planned maintenance hours.
• Adhering to health and safety standards.
• Implementing a total quality approach across the site.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of multiskilled maintenance experience, preferably in FMCG environments.
