With this in mind, we are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our close-knit team in Glasgow to help the site maintain its excellent track record.
The Glasgow site is based in the North of the City and supplies the whole of Scotland and the North of England. This is a great opportunity to bring your new ideas to life, make an immediate impact on our operations, and build a career with Marley.
What’s the role about?
Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
You'll be involved in a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, you'll carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on site.
Working 39 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rotation, you'll enjoy a great work-life balance! There is also potential for overtime to increase your earnings.
