Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a seasoned Coordinator: Mechanical at St Ives to lead fixed-plant maintenance across the processing plant. You will coordinate planned, corrective and shutdown activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution and high technical standards.

The role requires a recognised mechanical trade qualification and at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity within mining or mineral processing, including contractor management.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical trade qualification with leadership/supervisory experience in mining or mineral processing.
• Experience coordinating planned, corrective and shutdown maintenance across fixed-plant mechanical systems.
• Strong people development, contractor management and safety leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and contractors across daily and shutdown activities.
• Drive work management, reliability and maintenance cost discipline.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with operations and planning teams.
• Oversee maintenance administration and materials requisitioning.
• Identify failure risks and coordinate corrective actions to minimise disruption.
