Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a High Wycombe manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Inspector (Verniers / Micrometres). The role offers £32,000–£35,000 plus a company bonus, 33 days holiday and benefits.

You will perform quality inspections, using verniers, micrometres and gauges, and support FAI while resolving non-conformances. Full training in aerospace manufacturing is provided, with a 7:30am–4:30pm Mon-Thu, and 7:00am–12:00pm Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience performing visual inspections with hand tools.
• Training provided for specialist measuring machinery.
• Attention to detail in quality inspections.

Responsabilités

• Quality inspection of parts and components.
• Use verniers, micrometers and gauges for measurements.
• Support first article inspection (FAI) and non-conformance resolution.
• Adhere to schedule: Mon-Thu 7:30am–4:30pm, Fri 7am–12pm.

Are you a Mechanical Quality Inspector looking for a long-term career within a close-knit manufacturer, where you will be looked after through an excellent work-life balance and a great working environment?

In this role you will be responsible conducting visual inspections on goods in and finished assemblies, using verniers, micrometres, and gauges. You will support FAI, identify and resolve non-conformances, and be given full training within the aerospace industry.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, this machine shop specialises in a range of both one-off and large batch components, supplying primarily into the aerospace industry. They pride themselves on their low staff turnover due to their collaborative and relaxed working environment.

This role would suit a Quality Inspector who has used hand measuring tools, looking for a long-term position within a family-feel company who will look after them, progressing their career.

The Role:

• Quality inspection of parts and components
• Using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
• Full training given on specialist measuring machinery
• Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7am – 12pm
