Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mechanical Inspector / Quality Inspector in Woking on a permanent, Monday-to-Friday basis. You will inspect components against drawings, programme and operate CMMs, and contribute to internal quality processes.

Join an established engineering business where you will conduct first-off checks, inspections across in-process and final stages, and help investigate quality issues while pursuing ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or quality inspection experience within manufacturing.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, with CMM programming and operating experience.
• Confident using precision measuring equipment and producing FAIRs, with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail.

Are you a Mechanical Inspector, Quality Inspector or CMM Inspector looking for a permanent, Monday-to-Friday role with training and the opportunity to develop your technical skills?

On offer is an opportunity to join an established engineering business in a varied inspection role, working with a range of components and assemblies and supporting quality throughout the manufacturing process.

You will use CMMs and conventional measuring equipment to check components against engineering drawings and specifications. Your responsibilities will include goods-in, first-off, in-process and final inspections, alongside preparing inspection reports and helping investigate quality issues.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate work, enjoys practical problem-solving and wants to develop within an engineering environment where quality and continuous improvement are central to the role.
