Job summary

Aaron Manufacturing Limited in Poole, Dorset is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join the Quality team. You will work with machinists and management to ensure components meet exact customer specifications and release conforming parts for dispatch.

The role covers first-off, in-process and final inspections, FAIRs, and trouble-shooting non-conforming products. A strong engineering background, attention to detail and ISO9001 knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous Mechanical Inspection experience.
• Engineering or manufacturing background.
• Experience inspecting precision engineered components.
• Understanding of ISO9001 quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literacy.
• Desirable: FAIR experience.
• Aerospace quality experience.
• CMM experience (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Using a wide range of precision measuring equipment.

• Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Releasing conforming products for dispatch.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys ensuring every component leaving the workshop meets exact customer specifications.

The Role
