Job summary

Thornhvac Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Graduate Engineer to design and cost HVAC solutions for customers, interpreting projects from drawings or specs and calculating airflow, loads, sizing and selections. You will advise on technical details and support customers, with occasional on-site visits.

The role is office-based in Berkshire with opportunities to travel to client sites as needed, and training from experienced staff to grow responsibilities over time.

Mechanical Graduate Engineer role, working in the HVAC industry. Based in Berkshire, salary in the c 32k bracket.

The Role

Providing fully designed and costed HVAC solutions for customers.

You'll be interpreting a customer's project via working from a set of drawings or a detailed specification and be involved with calculating airflow, heat/cooling loads, room sizing, efficiency levels and product selections of HVAC equipment.

Advising and providing technical support and guidance to your customers.

Predominantly this will be an office-based role, however there will be opportunities to support customers on-site where required.

A role where you'll be fully trained and mentored by experienced and highly qualified internal staff, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you progress.

The Person

Applications invited from Graduate Engineers in a Mechanical or related field.

Interest in working in the HVAC industry.

Excellent communication skills required to work within the team, as you'll be liaising with customers on a daily basis and in the future be involved with client meetings.

UK residency required. Unfortunately sponsorship cannot be offered with this role.

The Package

A basic salary in the c 32k bracket, dependent on background and experience.
