Job summary

Thornhvac Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Graduate Engineer to design and cost HVAC solutions for customers, interpreting projects from drawings or specs and calculating airflow, loads, sizing and selections. You will advise on technical details and support customers, with occasional on-site visits.

The role is office-based in Berkshire with opportunities to travel to client sites as needed, and training from experienced staff to grow responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Applications invited from Graduate Engineers in a Mechanical or related field.
• Interest in working in the HVAC industry.
• Excellent communication skills required to liaise with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide fully designed and costed HVAC solutions for customers.
• Interpret customer projects from drawings or specifications and calculate airflow, heat/cooling loads, room sizing, efficiency levels, and product selections.
• Advise and provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Predominantly office-based with on-site support when required.
