Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Fitter (Training & Development) to join a close-knit, family-run team. The role offers structured training and progression with a strong focus on upskilling technicians in mechanical systems.

The position is home and workshop based, covering Cornwall; requires a UK driving license, with hours Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30. Salary ranges from £30,000 to £37,000 plus company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Holds a UK License (driving license).
• Keen on training and career development within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and rebuild of mechanical systems such as motors and gearboxes.
• Pursue further technical training from related industries.

This company have circa 30 employees and focus on Industrial Electrical and Mechanical repairs, they are now looking to recruit a motivated mechanical fitter that wants training & development alongside a great working environment & company culture.

This role will suit a Mechanical Fitter, or similar looking to further your career in the local area, with a close knit family run specialist, that will further upskill your technical knowledge & offer the scope to progress to a senior engineer, all whilst retaining a great work life balance with no weekends required.

The Role:

• Service, Repair and Rebuild of mechanical systems, such as Motors, Gearboxes etc
• Further Technical training from alternative industries, such as mechanics
• Monday to Friday 8 - 4.30

The Person:

• Mechanical fitter with experience in a similar role
• Looking for training & career development as part of a successful team
• Holds a UK License
