Job summary

Hayley 24/7 Engineering Services Ltd in Dudley is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You will work on a variety of rotating equipment, carrying out fault-finding, repairs, overhauls, installations and commissioning in a busy workshop environment and on-site when needed.

Day and night positions are available, with enhanced overtime rates, a company pension and ongoing training. This permanent role offers clear progression opportunities within an established engineering

Qualifications

Hands-on mechanical fitting experience.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience with repairing or refurbishing rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

Strip, inspect, and rebuild rotating equipment including gearboxes, pumps, motors and fans.
Diagnose faults and determine parts and actions to restore operation.
Fit and remove bearings using appropriate tools and methods.
Use precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
Operate workshop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses.
Support site-based work including installation and commissioning when required.
Complete job docs using mobile devices.
Ensure high safety and quality standards on every job.
