Job summary

Rubix in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled engineering technician to support the overhaul and maintenance of equipment. The role involves stripping, inspecting, and reporting on components, and performing rebuilds with rotor balancing where required.

You will follow Rubix UKII templates and policies, maintain 5S standards, and contribute to timekeeping and reporting throughout each job. A strong emphasis on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• On-time delivery of activity, measured via EOS.
• Work to Rubix UKII Specification Standards – Zero Non Conformance.
• Work within the specified time period, measured via job hours allocated on EOS.
• Work area compliance to 5S cleanliness standards.
• Completed formal training (Indentured apprenticeship, NVQ's, BTEC's or relevant experience).
• Understanding of industrial applications for equipment being overhauled.

Responsibilities

• Strip, inspect and report on equipment using Rubix UKII standard templates.
• Overhaul components ready for equipment rebuild.
• Rebuild units including dynamic balancing of rotors, and record.
• Provide all necessary inspection, job record and timekeeping reports throughout the job process, in line with Rubix UKII policies and procedures.
• Support other job functions as requested by supervision, including site work and operating in other engineering workshops.
• Active participation in on call rota, shift working and overtime requests to ensure service levels are maintained.
