Mechanical Fitter (HGV and Heavy Plant) £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Benefits + Company Van

Location: Boroughbridge

Are you a Mechanical Fitter with a background in HGVs, heavy plant, or similar, looking for a long-term, stable, days-based role within a well-established and expanding company?

On offer is the chance to work for a fourth-generation, family-owned earth-moving company that began trading 100 years ago with steam engines and now operates one of the largest fleets of steel-bodied tippers and heavy plant in Yorkshire.

This days-based role will have you based at the company's Menskip site, working within a tight-knit team of technicians, conducting planned and reactive servicing on a fleet of modern HGVs and heavy plant. You will also assist in preparing the HGVs for their MOT. While primarily workshop-based, occasional site visits will be required, for which a van will be provided.
