Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for examination, inspection, maintenance and testing of critical plant and equipment on site in support of the Plant Maintenance Schedule and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement and accurate record keeping, with hands-on duties and opportunities to expand skills through comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Time-served Mechanical Fitter with demonstrable technical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, NVQ (NQF Level 3) or relevant experience.
• Experience in a technical environment with HASAWA safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively within a safety-focused, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities to ensure reliable and safe operation of plant and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support the Plant Maintenance Schedule.
• Complete required training and ensure records of tasks performed.
