Job summary

First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter on behalf of our client. This role involves mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of components, along with planned and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.

You will fault-find, troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on lathes, milling machines, grinders and radial arm drills. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical fitting and maintenance experience, a good understanding

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
• Strong mechanical fitting and maintenance experience.
• Experience working with industrial/manufacturing machinery.
• Good mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A strong understanding of health & safety.
• Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential.
