Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical engineering with apprenticeship/NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3.
• Experience as Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Engineer in heavy industrial/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience welding, grinding and oxy-acetylene cutting.
• Strong fault-finding and proactive maintenance approach.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter.

Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, you will play a key role in the installation of material handling systems.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
