Job summary

First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our client in the North East of England. You will work on industrial machinery, carrying out fitting, assembly and installation of components, and perform planned maintenance.

The role demands fault-finding and mechanical repairs, with day-to-day work on lathes, milling machines, grinders and radial arm drills. You will join an experienced engineering team and be expected to uphold high health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
• Strong mechanical fitting and maintenance experience.
• Experience working with industrial/manufacturing machinery.
• Good mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A strong understanding of health & safety.
• Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Rate of Pay: from £37-42K Per annum

Standard Hours 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thu 8am-2.30pm Friday
