Job summary

AES in West Midlands is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to build and develop feed systems and SP machinery to design specification. Salary £35,000 - £42,000 plus excellent benefits.

You will assemble machinery to general arrangement drawings, install pneumatic elements, and may visit customer sites for installation and commissioning.

The role requires an HNC/HND/degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and hands-on experience in mechanical build/assembly with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Experience of working in a mechanical build/assembly environment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble machinery to general arrangement drawings.
• Install and plumb pneumatic elements of machinery.
• Attend customer site for installation, commissioning and/or service visits when required.

The Company: Our Client is an innovative Multi-Disciplined Design & Engineering Lead provider of automation engineering services and solutions across a wide range of industries,

Due to sustained continued expansion, they now require a Mechanical Fitter to build and functionally develop feed systems and special purpose machinery within agreed timeframes to design specification.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• * Mechanically assemble machinery to general arrangement drawings.
• * Install and plumb pneumatic elements of machinery.
• * Attend customer site for installation, commissioning and/or service visits when required.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

• * A HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• * Experience of working in a mechanical build/assembly environment.

You will be self motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of £35,000 to £42,000 plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
