Mechanical Fitter

Our attractive package includes a GBP35k basic salary, with potential earnings up to GBP45k for additional hours (up to 50 hours/week), including door-to-door travel time and 40 hours on-site. Combined with benefits and growth prospects, this is a unique opportunity.

The person:

We are flexible regarding sector and experience but prefer candidates with a strong mechanical background, especially in water or utility sectors. Experience with Penstocks, Motors, Bearings, Winches, Gearboxes, LOLER, and hands-on skills are desirable.

The role:

You will handle mechanical aspects of projects ranging from small-scale to multi-million-pound developments. Tasks include design, build, maintenance, and installation, depending on client needs. Many projects are in water and utility industries, but experience in other industrial sectors is also valued.

We are a 35-year-old M&E engineering firm with a turnover of GBP40m, specializing in designing, installing, maintaining, and commissioning sites. We pride ourselves on developing talent, with two of our Directors starting as apprentices.
