Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Fitter in Southampton, working Monday to Friday with a salary of up to £46,000. You will join a market leading processing company and support both planned and reactive maintenance to keep production running.

The role covers hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, drives, relays and inverters, plus conveyors, bearings, belts and chains. You will ensure adherence to health and safety on site and develop your skills within a stable engineering team.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in industrial or processing environments.
• Mechanical qualifications desirable.
• Mechanical experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance.
• Machine breakages/diagnostics and repair.
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics maintenance.
• Sensors, Drives, Relays and Inverters maintenance.
• Conveyors, Bearings, Belts and Chains maintenance.
• Adhering to all health & safety on site.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.
