Job summary

UKSE Group is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a mobile role covering wastewater sites. You will remove old equipment and install new kit, traveling from depot to depot with a company van and fuel card. Accommodation will be booked when working away from home.

The contract starts 28/09 and runs until the end of the year, with door-to-door pay and time-and-a-quarter for overtime where applicable. Applicants must have a CSCS card, a valid driving licence, and be willing to travel to sites across

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is required for access to sites.
• Confined Space Certificate may be provided during training.
• Safety Critical Medical may be provided during training.
• Valid Driving Licence is required to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Remove old water treatment equipment and install new kit on wastewater sites.
• Travel between sites with company van; accommodation booked when required.
• Work across multiple sites as part of a mobile team.

Job description

Requirements for a Mechanical Fitter:

• Removing old water treatment equipment and installing new kit on waste water treatment sites.
• Mobile role covering various sites, van + fuel card provided and accommodation booked when required.
• CSCS Card - required.
• Confined Space Certificate - required, training can be provided.
• Safety Critical Medical - required; training can be provided.
• Driving Licence - required.

Job Details:

• £22 - £23 per hour (depending on experience).
• Paid door to door from the depot to depot.
• Time and a quarter paid over 8 hours for the day.
• Van + Fuel card provided with tooling and PPE.
• Accommodation will be booked when working away from home.
• (Must be within travelling distance of the Barnsley depot).

Contract starting 28/09 until the end of the year.
