Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the industry, is currently seeking a Semi-skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a vital role in the assembly of test sets based in Eastleigh. Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Carry out mechanical assembly of test sets.
• Ensure that all components are accurately fitted and aligned.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in mechanical assembly.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with cable assembly is desirable.
• Hold a valid FLT license for counterbalance.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 with a one-hour break.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
