Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking to get involved with a global organization that specialises in bespoke control automation systems and advanced robotics? My client is looking to expand the team by 2 Mechanical Fitters to support the growing workload.

Mechanical Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fitting and Assembly:

• Build assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Construct electrical and pneumatic systems using general hand and power tools.
• Work from engineering drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy.

Project Management:

• Oversee projects from build in our workshops to dismantling and assembly at customer sites.
• Ensure all projects meet the highest standards and deadlines.

Travel:

• Travel across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the USA as required.
• Rarely required to stay over weekends, with compensation for travel time, overtime, and expenses.

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to interpret mechanical (and preferably electrical) engineering drawings.
• Sound experience in machine assembly, including electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ideally a trained apprentice and/or qualified Mechanical Fitter/Assembler.
• Familiarity with hygienic environments and health and safety requirements.
