Job description

Mechanical Fitter - Permanent, Full-time

Graham Steelworks & Engineering Ltd is currently recruiting Mechanical Fitters to undertake the installation of a wide variety of steel fabrication projects. This role is predominantly based throughout Northern Ireland, with potential requirements to work away from home.

Requirements:

1. Ability to work to engineering drawings with high accuracy to ensure correct installation and set out of components.
2. Experience with mechanical equipment, pipework, access steelwork, pumps, and gearboxes.
3. Full driving license.
4. A strong commitment to safety.
5. Competence in using a wide range of tools, including power tools such as grinders, drills, and impactors.
6. CSR card.
7. Desirable: PASMA, EUSR Water Hygiene, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Telehandler, MEWP training (training provided if necessary).
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Hands-on experience in the water treatment industry is advantageous.

What We Offer:

• Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-15:30
