Job Role: HGV Fitter

Location: Bristol

Pay: £48,000

Hours: 6pm-6am

Shift: Nights 4 on 4 off

Contract: Full time Permanent role

HGV Fitter opportunity

We are a well-established and rapidly expanding fleet maintenance company with depots across the UK and are actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Fitter for our site in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Fitter

- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements of the HGV Fitter

- Solid experience as an HGV Fitter or a similar role.

- Hold City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications in heavy vehicles

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.

- Strong knowledge of HGV systems, components, and regulations.
